George Tobias

George Tobias

Actor estadounidense



Nació el 14 de julio de 1901 en la ciudad de Nueva York (Estados Unidos).

Se formó en el teatro y realizó giras por los Estados Unidos. En el año 1939 se inicia en el cine y aparece en papeles casi siempre secundarios dando vida a personajes cómicos y dramáticos. Es célebre su interpretación de oficial de visados ruso en Ninotchka. Después, intervendría en la versión musical de este film, interpretada por Fred Astaire y Cyd Charisse, La bella de Moscú.

George Tobias falleció el 27 de febrero de 1980 en Los Angeles, California.
