Aline MacMahon

Aline MacMahon nació el 3 de mayo de 1899 en McKeesport, Pennsylvania.
Hija de un periodista de origen irlandés.
De apariencia un tanto desgarbada, se inició en el music-hall y en el teatro.
En el año 1931, hizo su debut en el cine; su primera película fue Sed de escándalo (M. LeRoy), en un papel de secretaria.
MacMahon interpretaba con gran talento, puede recordarse especialmente por Viaje de ida (T. Garnett, 1932), Once in a Lifetime (R. Mack, 1932), Vampiresas 1933 (M. LeRoy, 1933), Ayer como hoy (C. Brown, 1935), Los ángeles perdidos (Fred Zinnemann, 1948) y El hombre de Laramie (Anthony Mann, 1955).
Aline MacMahon falleció en Nueva York el 12 de octubre de 1991.
